Greetings, fellow humans! My name is Brianne Bell, or as many call me, Bree or Bri. I work in a research lab on recombinant protein purification methodologies and biomaterial formation. I got my undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from Utah State University with minors in biology and chemistry. Initially, I had medical school as my backup plan to study pathology. I love learning about the human condition and seeing all that the world is doing to advance the care for it.
I got a master’s degree in Applied Data Science from the University of San Diego because while I enjoy my lab work (13+ years), I enjoyed seeing patterns in my data and thought it was cool how groups use data to design processes and determine the best options. Determining those actionable insights gathered from data analytics is what I enjoy doing in my current job when I can, and I would love to do so in a new career.

I love animals, though dogs, llamas, and alpacas are probably my favorites. I fulfilled a wish to pet a llama for the first time in 2024. I enjoy flying trick kites and being on the Washington coast. I enjoy puzzles, doodling, and coloring. I like to be in nature to enjoy the scenery and soundscape. I love being with family and am quite a homebody.
Nice to meet you all, and I hope you enjoy my collection of academic articles.
